Paul Newman: Words to Remember

The world lost a great man on Friday. Paul Newman was not only a gorgeous, funny, charming actor and person, but also gave much to the world through philanthropy and his charitable organization and company, Newman's Own.

Here, some words to live by, from the NY Times obituary:

“We are such spendthrifts with our lives,” Mr. Newman once told a reporter. “The trick of living is to slip on and off the planet with the least fuss you can muster. I’m not running for sainthood. I just happen to think that in life we need to be a little like the farmer, who puts back into the soil what he takes out.”

So keep pouring that Newman's Own Organic Marinara on your pasta and live your Fashionably Responsible life with a little nod to Mr. Newman.
